This may be a great place to watch a fireworks show, or launch your boat, but after my experience here, I even question that. I paid $575 for a 21 day RV Site, which was supposed to include water and electricity. I suppose it did include those, although the water is brown with rust, and reeks of iron, and the power is adequate for maybe a lamp and a fan simultaneously. If you try anything more, you trip the breaker. The person I rented this spot from (Greg) made sure I was going to be ok with loud, late night drinking, and a party atmosphere. This was no issue for me. I told Greg I work in the evenings, so late did not bother me. I asked if he would like me to park along the fence when I do come in late, so as not to disturb anyone by pulling all the way in. He said that would be great. About 7 days into my nightmare stay here, at 2 AM, 2 very intoxicated men came to my trailer, and told me I needed to move my car immediately, that me parking on the fence was making them paranoid. They were very rude about it! I didn't even know who the two men were, neither was Greg. Since then, I have met at least 5 people, other than Greg who claim to be in charge. No one has imposed these numerous rules on me during the day time, sober. They instead come to my trailer (past my curfew) 3 completely drunk men, one of them carrying a baseball bat. I am single mother, who was alone with my 11 year old son, having to be accosted by 3 drunk men with a baseball bat. I have been nothing but respectful, have taken all there absurdity with grace and not made a scene. Maybe the baseball bat was a little over kill.
Great boat dock on the Lewis, they shouldnt close the gate after 8 pm and not open until 5 am. They would have got 5 stars otherwise
They all seem to have an issue with everything, and have imposed new rules daily on me. As it stands now, I am to have no visitors, whatsoever. I also heard that I was allowed visitors, but they had to pay an additional fee to visit my trailer, and had to be off the premises by 8PM. I am to be in my RV by midnight every night. I am to drive no more that 2 miles per hour when coming and going (although, apparently that's just my rule, they certainly do not follow it). I have been a full-time RV'r for a year now, and have stayed at many different locations in that time. None as awful as this. Truly a nightmare. Camper BEWARE!!!
Nice, uncrowded place to launch a boat. I think they wanted 5$ for use of their pier/launch area.
The best fourth of July fireworks.
All quiet so far this morning at the Great Northwest Beer Olympics
