Nice little hiking place just minutes from home. Be aware that there is a lot of horse traffic here so keep you did on leash because there have been problems of dogs scaring horses and riders bring thrown.
Looks like a great park, only went in a little bit, taking family pictures, started to rain, be careful of horse poo
The trees in the park keep you shaded on a hot day. This is a great trail for families or anyone who doesn't want a really strenuous hike. It's convenient as it's close to town. Not bothered at all by the horse manure!
Our favorite trail only about 15 minutes away. Only negative is the horse poop.
I've been here several times and while it is beautiful and one of the last publicly accessible green spaces in the area it really belongs to the horseback riders. I didn't feel like they were too excited about having to share it with anyone else either, there must be something I'm missing. It is open to everyone but the trails are heavily impacted, super dusty and there's horse crap everywhere. Seriously, you can't not step in it. I'm sure it's awesome for them, it's disappointing for me though. I doubt I'll go back.
